I can’t just stay Home

-I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. John 15-5

I am a stay at home Mom.  But I just can’t stay home.  Sometimes I think I can.  If I am really tired, I will just try to never leave my house, never contact people, and just take care of myself and kids.

But this does not work for me.  I get more exhausted this way.  I miss the outside world and connection.  I can’t think of anything to blog about, like this morning.  I was not interested in working on my books, or my classes.  I even get bored of being with my children.

So then I get out of the house.  To my favorite coffee shop, to hang out with a friend, or shopping.  This morning I could not think of a blog post.  But then after going to my favorite coffee shop I realized that I just need to be connect to the people I care about, and care about me.  Then I get excited to be creative.  I enjoy spending more time with my children.  I feel connected.

So as much as I would like to do this parenting thing on my own during the day, that just does not work for me.  I need to connect with others to continue to be inspired, grow, and create.  Thank you for the boost coffee shop friends, and strangers. Blog post done; now back to creating more online classes.
