Choosing a Size for House Letters
Since we moved into our new house, I wanted to install house letters. The first thing I needed to do was see what size letters I wanted. I drew some letters with a sharpie on a paper, put it up and then decided what size I wanted.
I then had to find the font that I wanted. I ended up buying these letters from Etsy. I choose 5 inch modern house numbers from https://www.etsy.com/shop/GoHomeNumbers
Creating a Template
I created a template on a piece of cardboard and punched a nail where the holes should go. I then put up the template with painters tape and marked where the holes should go with a pen. I drilled holes where the pen marks were and then finally screwed on the letters. These letters are plastic but hopefully, they won’t fade and will last a long time.
