My Mom and I love to make a trip to Ikea when I am home to visit her. We go to the one in Conshohocken, PA. We love to walk around and get some Swedish Meatballs while we are there. Most of the time we pick up a couple things for my house too. I thought I would take you on a little tour of things that have made it to our house and stayed their for a while. I am not sure if you can buy everything there still but you may find things that are similar. Enjoy!
This cabinet started in the kitchen as extra storage in our tiny apartment. Right now we store games int here and it is a changing table. The picture is also from Ikea. The picture is great because it is so large and adds color. Many people asked me if I took it because we love to go to private islands like in the picture. You can even see the Ikea bag in the cabinet. We use it to transport our board games to our favorite coffee shop.
We have a very small entry way. This Ikea shoe rack is great as a little table. Honestly, we don’t use it for shoes. We use it for cards and toilet paper of all things! We don’t have a large amount of room in the bathroom for extra toilet paper so we store it here.
I don’t have a green thumb! So these plants are probably 6 years old and we still like them in our bedroom. I got the white planter from there too. Easy to clean and I have moved this in many places around my home over the years.
My Mom got my daughter these storage containers from Ikea for Christmas. We love them because even a 4 year old can clean up herself as long as all of her toys fit in the bins. Sometimes I need to donate some so they do. I added a board we had laying around and a table we had for her.
Most of the curtains in our house are from Ikea. Thank you Young House Love for that tip. The reason for this is you can find 95 inch curtain panels for $10 each. What a deal! I love the light airy feel of these curtains too. Then I can hang the curtain rods at the ceiling.
